 Here are the photos of the new Historical Character Caroline Abbott! She is from 1812, and is a shipbuilders daughter. Gah, so much love!

Now, I know some of you wanted a non-blondie, and I know how you feel. But you gotta admit, the hair is selling her. She looks almost angelic. Dot-dot-dot-dash.

Now, here's some stuff I found on dolldiaries.com.

It is said that this is a 'Skiff', a small boat.{IMHO, 'Skiff', sounds like a Star Wars thing}

 I KNEW she was going to have a boat! Plus, her outfit is cute too :)

GAH! It look very close to the now retired Scenes & Settings! But I bet that it will cost waaaaaaaayyyy more. A small fortune, in the words of D{my 'lil sis}. But isn't get gown beautiful! It reminds me of a Barbie dress that I played with when I was little. The front looks kind of maid-ish, which gives it a cool history.

Outfit is sooo cute! I would wear it (for me!) So I'm going to buy this outfit for the dolls, then we are going to re-create it for me! I have very similar jeans, then we just need a shirt, vest, and shoes!I also have the headband. Lol. 
Liz on Americangirlfan.com said she would wear it, and people on AGFMB*!


Also, I agree with Willow on Licorice. It 's not Licorice, I wouldn't have minded if they brought her back if she looked like her old self!

Long time no posts!

Hey all! 

Sorry we haven't been posting lately... I guess we have just gotten pretty busy! I got a new doll.  :) I'm not going to put her on my profile page till you guys start guessing. So, I'll give you a couple clues.

Curly hair.

Green eyes. 

$105. (wait, that's not a clue! XD) 

Lets see if you can guess off of those. I think you can, you guys are smart. 

On Wednesday, I'll do a craft of how to do an IPad. If I have time. And if I remember. my grandparents are in town.
*insert fist pump here*

I've been into my dolls more than usual, lately. I went to Willow's house, played with her dolls, and came home and built a doll house for my dolls. It's in our playroom. I overruled it in here.. It's doll heaven. I made our futon couch into a bed, put doll clothes and beds on there for a bedroom and closet, pulled books out of our bookshelves for a schoolroom, bathroom, and another closet. And I have my kitchen things set up. And then I have another bedroom underneath the second closet. because the bookshelve rooms and the kitchen and second bedroom are Nicki's apartment. (Yes, she is only turning 16 this year, but it is still fun to play! lol.)  It's really cool. Now it's all cleaned up, though..

Oh. Yes. I have mystery girl on my lap. Say hi! "hi!! I hope you guess me, bye." 

This post wouldn't be a very good  post without some pictures...

   There's some random photo's from random photo shoots. In the third one up from the bottom, I like how Rebbecca is in focus, and Elizabeth is slightly out of focus. :)

MAG/JLY Meet Outfits & Ideas! By Silence

Hello. Silence in the house, er, blog!

Well, lately on the AGFMB (American Girl Fan Message Board, phew! That's a mouth-full.) there was a rumor going 'round that a new MAG/JLY (whatever you call it, I call it JLY) update was going to happen yesterday. Oh well! That's OK! It will hopefully happen in May!
But, is it just me, because the JLY meet outfit that is out right now is cute, but not my favorite. I miss the star hoodie outfit!! That one was cute! I hope they come out with something like:

• Yellow sweater
• something not pink and or purple (almost all the MAG outfits have been pink/purple!)
• sandals (wedges?? like, teeny ones, like, kid looking ones!)
• Tank top layered with white (petals and posies dress) feeling fabric flowey see-though top over it! (WOW! That was a lot..Did that even make sense??)
• Yellow (striped?) sweater with blue/pink(yes, pink, or even purple as long as there is other colors in the outfit!) tank top under, white knee length skirt, and wither wedges or some other sandals!(remember the old AG ones, just plain sandals, but they had blue braided straps?Something like that! In white!)
• Sundress!!! Blue! Yellow! (AG doesn't have enough yellow! Or any color for that matter..) Little shrug over! Sandals! Leggings! Come on AG, be creative!!!

So, yeah!

Here's another idea...

 Wouldn't  it be cool if you could choose what outfit you want your JLY to come in??? Like let's say I ordered JLY #27, and instead of her coming in the meet outfit, I could say:  I want her to come in The petals and posies dress, or something of that sort! Wouldn't that be awesome? Like if it was a gift for a birthday or something etc. then it could be dressed in something to that occasion!

Also, I wish you could actually customize your doll? I mean, it says you can on the AG website, but your just customizing off of their things.. Just idea's! Not trying to complain/whine, just ideas!

So if you have idea's, we'd love to hear them! And.. We love comments!

Doll Look-A-Likes by Silence{and a bit of Willow}

Hello, there! Silence here. Just felt like writing a little bit today..

I went to an American Girl Store today, because I have been thinking about getting Cécile lately. So I wanted to go see her in person. I've seen her in person once before but didn't pay that much attention to her, no-make that 2 times before.. Anyways.. She is just gorgeous! Marie-Grace is OK, (no offense to anyone)she looks similar to Elizabeth, I mean, let's think about it: (Not trying to be whiny just saying!)

• Meet dress = pink for both
• Both have pin curls
• Both historicals.. (OK, so doesn't count! Oh well!)
• Similar hair (different color, otherwise similar!)

 SEE? I like these dolls- A LOT! I think it's fun/funny they have similar looking dolls. Only these JLY's/MAG's came out before Cécile..  This one's face mold is different! It's cool, though. :)I think she is the only one with that face mold, right?{actually, I think this may be the Addy mold, my friend has her}

 She's cute! Saw her in person, today! I do like the name Gwen for her..
